Mon Oct 3 2011 - Lupi's West Grove Show Home Featured in The Calgary Herald

Lupi Luxury Homes' newest show home, located in beautiful West Grove Estates was featured in Saturday's edition of the Calgary Herald!

From the article published September 30th, written by Marty Hope:

"The Brunello is a casually elegant home that provides large enough spaces for everybody in the family.  A new model by Lupi Luxury Homes, the 3,220-square-foot estate model is the company’s entry into the show home parade in Bri-Mor Developments’ West Grove Estates, which is on the city’s west side.

Large rooms with plenty of window space allow natural light to spread across much of the floor plan.

A porcelain tile-dropped foyer welcomes visitors (the finish makes its look like an acid-washed tile).

A gathering area has a grey ceramic tile edged with richly-stained maple.

To the left and behind a pair of clear glass french doors is a study with built-in maple cabinets and a feature wall.

A two-sided fireplace has a tile face and maple surround.

To the right, a hallway passes a stylish half-bath with corian-topped maple vanity.

At the end of the hallway is a mudroom with locker-style storage, large closet and the garage entry.

Back to the main area of the home, expansive windows stretch across the great room, dining area, and kitchen at the rear of the home.

The great room shares the two-way fireplace with the study. Next to that is a built-in entertainment centre.

The dining area is between the great room and kitchen, with a sliding door leading to a partially covered deck.

The workable kitchen has banks of antiqued white cabinets and a large island with a flush eating bar for four.

Appliances are stainless steel and backsplashes are glass tile and subway tile. An adjoining butler’s pantry has maple cabinets, open shelves, a refrigerator and a dishwasher.

Upstairs, there’s no chance of confusing which of the children’s bedrooms are for a girl and which for a boy — a doll motif is in one and the other has a sports look.

The bedrooms, both with walk-in closets, flank the main bath, which has a tile floor, twin vanities and a tub/shower.

Well-placed, the laundry room is opposite the children’s bedrooms. It has countertop space, storage, and subway tile backsplashes.

At the front of the home is the bonus room with vaulted ceiling that is finished as a family room.

At the rear of the home, a pair of solid maple doors open to the master bedroom with a fireplace it shares with the adjoining ensuite.

The ensuite has tile on the floor, and as surrounds on the tub and stall shower. Between the fireplace and glass stall shower is a free-standing bath tub.

Through the ensuite is the carpeted dressing room with cabinets and open shelves."
